Interview by On the Doorstep of Life in Colour
“A trench coat, a denim jacket and a blazer are my top three choices for layering up and keeping off the chill during the unpredictable British spring and summer months”

I am an accredited Life Coach and Personal Stylist based in Kent. I am originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland and have lived in Kent for the past five years, I love Kent with its great access to both London and the coast. I am a mum to two fantastic boys, aged five and one.
What I love about fashion;
I love colour, experimenting with colours and expressing myself through colourful clothing.
An item I cannot leave the house without is;
Lipstick!
Where I most like to shop;
I like to find good quality items on the high street, but I also love vintage and charity shops where you can find amazing unique items.
Tips for Spring/Summer fashion:
If you are feeling unsure how to introduce bolder colours into your spring/summer wardrobe, start by adding coloured accessories, such as a bag, shoes or jewellery.
A midi dress is a perfect summer staple that can be dressed up or down, look for ones with a defined waist or belt to enhance your shape.
Chinos make a great alternative to jeans in the spring and summer months. Marks and Spencer currently have a pair available in nine different colours, something to suit everyone.
Straw and raffia accessories are everywhere on the high street this season; the neutral material means a pair of espadrilles or a straw hat will blend well with other items and add the perfect finishing touch to an outfit.
