Peanut – The Social Support Network for Mums
Motherhood can be a daunting experience at any time, but there is concern the restrictions brought about by the coronavirus pandemic have increased isolation for many Mums and in particular new parents.
Peanut offers women a lifeline – and the ability to connect them with other mothers living nearby on a similar journey.
It does this by linking mothers based on location, ages of children, stage of pregnancy or fertility journey and personal interests.
Alongside allowing new parents to meet for a walk, park outing or take part in regular Zoom calls it also opens mothers to groups and forums they may like to join that is relevant to their own hobbies and interests.
The social support network aims to make sure that mums do not feel alone or isolated and always have somewhere to turn to.
